Golden Celebrations for our 50th Birthday...

Commando Skydivers has a rich and exciting history, playing a major role in the development of sport parachuting in Australia. It had humble beginnings in 1961, when an eager group of CMF members took up a collection and formed a club based at Laverton.

Over the years, the club developed into one of Australia's largest operations, notching up numerous 'firsts' at its Pakenham home. But it was forced to succumb to progress after four exciting decades, relocating to Tooradin to make way for a freeway through the old DZ.

Nowadays, we offer a vibrant club atmosphere and personalised service with amazing views over Western Port.

IN FEBRUARY 2011, WE HAVE BIG PLANS FOR OUR LITTLE CLUB'S MILESTONE BIRTHDAY.

Friday night, 4th Feb 2011 - a massive formal party at Powerhouse Function Centre, Albert Park, to unite old members and new.

Friday 4th  to Monday 7th Feb 2011 - a big weekend of PURE GOLD skydiving at the Tooradin DZ!

There will be photos and people from our half a century of adventure, coaching in most skydiving disciplines, Caravan jumps from 14,000 feet, and a casual lunch for non jumpers.

Lock in your leave now, because we're working hard to create a magical weekend.

For two years, we've been spreading the word, adding names to our email list and collecting history. Now it's all coming together and we need you to commit to the celebrations.
